Improving Student Learning is more difficult than Rocket Science! What we are striving for, is a paradigm shift in approach – a “prioritising learning” approach based on a deep understanding the ‘science of how children learn’. Such an approach will diagnose learning issues in depth; research on possible reasons for student inability to acquire skills, figure out ways to teach the concept better. This would need a cross disciplinary approach that collaborates between cognitive science, computer science, neuroscience, educational psychology, anthropology, applied linguistics, academic subjects, pedagogy, psychometrics, assessments, data science and policy innovations.
